Ajay Devgn recently admitted that there were some creative flaws in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and assured fans that their feedback would be considered in upcoming films.

Singham Again, released on Diwali last year, was the fifth film in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. While there was a lot of excitement for the film, it received a mixed response. Recently, Ajay Devgn spoke about the audience’s disappointment regarding the subtle portrayal of his character, Bajirao Singham. He assured that the filmmakers would work on the feedback in future projects.
While talking at the Zee Real Heroes Awards 2025 on India.com, Ajay was asked about the changes in his character compared to the previous films. The host mentioned that fans missed the powerful Singham, who was known for his intense action sequences and fearless fighting style.
Ajay Devgn accepted this criticism and shared that many people had given him the same feedback. He promised that in future films, they would ensure that Singham’s action-packed and fearless nature would return.
He said, “I think I received similar feedback from many people. So, we will make sure that in the next film, Singham’s powerful action—where he fearlessly fights villains—will definitely be there.”
A few months after its theatrical release, Singham Again was made available on Amazon Prime Video. The film, which hit cinemas in November 2024, collected ₹240 crore net in India despite facing a box-office clash with Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, as per Pinkvilla’s box-office analysis.
The film featured a star-studded cast, including Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff in important roles.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in Raid 2, co-starring Vaani Kapoor. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishna Kumar, the film is set to release on May 1, 2025. Ajay also has De De Pyaar De 2 in the pipeline.
