Here’s how Allu Aravind responded to the trolls after he seemingly took a dig at Ram Charan starrer Game Changer.

Producer Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, recently faced backlash after his comments were seen as a dig at his nephew Ram Charan’s film Game Changer, which did not do well at the box office. These remarks upset fans of the Mega family, leading to criticism and trolling. Addressing the issue during a press conference in Hyderabad, Allu Aravind clarified the situation.
Without waiting for any questions, he explained that his remarks to producer Dil Raju during the Thandel pre-release event were not intentional. Allu Aravind shared that he was only referring to how Dil Raju experienced both profit and loss in a short time. Responding to the trolling, he emphasized that there was no hidden meaning behind his words.
“I only meant that Dil Raju faced both success and loss in a week. I was trolled a lot for it,” he said.
He further clarified that his relationship with Ram Charan is very strong and requested everyone to move past the controversy. He called Ram Charan like his son and reminded everyone that he is Ram Charan’s only “mavayya” (maternal uncle). Admitting his mistake, he said he should not have brought up the topic and refused to answer further questions on the matter.
“He is like my son. I am his only mavayya, and he is my only menalludu. Our bond is excellent, so please leave this issue behind. I now understand that I shouldn’t have spoken about it,” Allu Aravind stated.
For context, during the Thandel event, Allu Aravind made a casual remark about Dil Raju, saying he experienced both success and failure within a short time. Through gestures, he indicated that one film did well while another struggled.
However, these comments upset Ram Charan’s fans, who took to social media to express their displeasure. With Allu Aravind’s clarification, it seems the issue has now been resolved.
