Here’s what Prabhas’s team said about the speculation regarding his marriage to a Hyderabad-based businessman’s daughter.
Prabhas’ wedding rumors have once again gone viral on the internet. Reports claimed that the Kalki 2898 AD star has decided to get married to the daughter of a rich businessman from Hyderabad. As these rumors spread, Prabhas’ team came forward to clear the confusion.
Though Prabhas has not spoken about it, his team told India Today Digital that these reports are false. They said, “All are fake news.” The team also requested fans and the public not to believe such rumors unless Prabhas himself makes an official announcement.
Prabhas’ Marriage Rumors Over the Years
For many years, fans and media have been curious about Prabhas’ wedding. Earlier, he was linked to actress Anushka Shetty, but both have always maintained that they are just “good friends.”
In 2018, Anushka addressed these marriage rumors at an event. She said, “Prabhas and I are not getting married. Please do not expect Baahubali- and Devasena-like chemistry in real life. It is only for the screen.”
In another interview that year, she clarified again, “We are just very good friends. There is nothing between Prabhas and me except friendship. We are definitely not getting married.”
Anushka Shetty’s Marriage Rumors
Just like Prabhas, Anushka also faced wedding speculations last year. Some reports said that she was getting married to a Dubai-based businessman, and that their families had already planned the wedding. However, neither Anushka nor her team confirmed this news.
Earlier, there were also rumors that she would marry K. Raghavendra Rao’s son, Prakash, but those reports were later denied.
