Nagarjuna is a proud and happy father as his sons – Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni – are engaged and getting ready for their weddings. He recently shared the wedding timelines of both his sons.
Nagarjuna excited for Chaitanya and Akhil’s weddings
Nagarjuna shared his happiness about his sons’ weddings. Naga Chaitanya is all set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, and Akhil Akkineni will tie the knot with Zainab Ravdjee in 2025.
Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding plans
Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding will happen on December 4 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. This studio, built by Chaitanya’s late grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, is special as this year marks his 100th birthday. Nagarjuna said, “We are planning a small, close-knit wedding, but since both families are big, the guest list will still be large.”
Akhil and Zainab’s wedding in 2025
While there were rumors that both sons would marry on the same day, Nagarjuna clarified that Akhil and Zainab’s wedding will take place in 2025. He shared, “I am so happy for Akhil. Zainab is a wonderful girl, and I am thrilled that they have chosen to spend their lives together.” Zainab, daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, is an artist who has lived in India, Dubai, and London.
Akhil and Zainab had a private engagement at the Akkineni family home, attended by close relatives. Similarly, Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August this year during a small ceremony in Hyderabad.
Chaitanya’s past
For those unaware, Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The two announced their separation in October 2021.
Upcoming movies
On the work front, Nagarjuna will be seen in Kubera and Coolie, while Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for Thandel. Akhil is working on Hastaara Vedavidhyam, and Sobhita recently appeared in Love, Sitara.
