Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is nearing the ₹15 crore milestone for its premiere show collections in North America.

Date:

After the success of Kalki 2898 AD, all focus has shifted to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. The movie is set to take Telugu cinema to greater heights and strengthen its global impact, especially in North America, the biggest market for Indian films outside India.

Currently, Pushpa 2 stands in second place for the biggest premiere collections, after Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, which made US $3.9 million in the USA alone. As per the latest updates, Pushpa 2 has earned US $1.75 million (₹14.78 crore) from its premiere shows in North America. Out of this, the USA alone contributed US $1.65 million, while the remaining came from Canada. The highest premiere day record is still held by SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion with US $4.3 million.

Pushpa 2 is set to release on 5th December, and with just six days left, ticket sales are expected to increase significantly. The film has been cleared by the Indian censor board with a UA certificate.

This much-awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, which won Allu Arjun the National Award for Best Actor, has already created a buzz by securing a ₹200 crore deal for its Hindi distribution rights in North India with Anil Thadani. The movie also features an amazing cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj.
