The Indian cricket journey now moves from the Champions Trophy to the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will start on March 22. Because of the mega auction in November 2024, fans and experts have seen many big changes in the ten teams.
One team that has gone through major changes is Delhi Capitals. They released their former captain Rishabh Pant and brought in KL Rahul, who was expected to be a captaincy option. However, even though some reports suggested that Rahul would be the new captain, he has apparently rejected the offer, saying that he wants to focus more on his performance as a player. Reports also say that Axar Patel, who is India’s T20I vice-captain, might become the team’s new leader.
