Deva records 4.5K presales for the opening day
As per estimates, Deva has sold around 4,500 tickets in the top three national cinema chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis—for the first day. The advance booking is a little slow right now, but movies like Deva depend more on spot bookings than advance sales.
However, a good increase in advance sales is expected tomorrow. The movie is likely to sell around 15,000 to 25,000 tickets for its opening day.
Deva aims for a decent opening; content is the key
Co-starring Pooja Hegde, Deva is a neo-noir investigative action thriller that shows Shahid Kapoor in a gray-shaded character. The movie is set in Mumbai and is expected to have a decent start.
As per Pinkvilla Predictions, Deva is expected to open in the range of ₹5 crore to ₹6 crore net at the Indian box office. However, the actual opening day collection will mostly depend on spot bookings and walk-ins. If the movie meets expectations, it will see an instant boost in ticket sales.
