On Sunday, Kishan made a grand entry into the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team, smashing his first-ever IPL century in just 45 balls against Rajasthan Royals (RR). His explosive batting helped SRH post a massive 286/6, just one run short of their own record for the highest total in IPL history.
After a fiery start by Travis Head (67 off 31 balls) and Abhishek Sharma (24 off 11 balls), Kishan took charge. Right from the beginning, he played aggressive shots, attacking the Rajasthan bowlers, especially England’s Jofra Archer, who had a tough time, conceding 76 runs in his 4 overs—the most expensive spell in IPL history.
