Sad news for all the ‘Aashiqui’ fans, as the third part of the beloved romantic story has reportedly been postponed. According to reports, director Anurag Basu is planning to make a fresh love story with Kartik Aaryan in the lead.
It was recently reported that ‘Aashiqui 3’ is facing some title-related issues, which have caused an indefinite delay. The news came right after Triptii Dimri joined the project. However, sources say that the actress, who was excited to be part of the film, has now left the project. Further confirmation is still awaited.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu are preparing for a new romantic film, which is expected to begin shooting in January or early February 2025 in Mumbai. Reports suggest that the casting for the lead actress is still ongoing, and an official announcement will be made soon.
Earlier, there were reports that ‘Aashiqui 3’ might be titled ‘Tu Meri Puri Kahani’ because of the ongoing controversies around the original title. Vikram Bhatt had previously posted on Instagram about Mahesh Bhatt’s new film titled ‘Tu Meri Puri Kahani.’ In the post, he shared that Mahesh Bhatt did not fight for the title of the original ‘Aashiqui’ film. He also revealed that the new film, a love story with great music, was conceived and developed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film’s journey began with Vikram’s idea, which Mahesh Bhatt supported, and together they started working on it.
This film will be directed by Suhrita and produced by Ajay Murdia, who understood their dream and made it a reality.
