
Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 26: Allu Arjun Film Maintains Strong Momentum
The Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its impressive run at the box office even after three weeks of release. On its 26th day, the movie remained steady, surpassing the collections of Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. The film has now crossed a total collection of ₹1163 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.com.
Day-Wise Box Office Collection
Pushpa 2 earned ₹6.65 crore on its fourth Monday, taking its total to ₹1163.65 crore. The movie had a massive opening week with ₹725.8 crore, followed by ₹264.8 crore in the second week and ₹129.5 crore in the third week.
Stampede Incident
During the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4, a stampede-like situation occurred. Tragically, a woman named Revathi lost her life, and her eight-year-old son was injured as fans rushed to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun.
Following this incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 and later released on interim bail on December 14. The Pushpa 2 team extended financial support by donating ₹2 crore to the victim’s family.
Allu Arjun’s Statement
Speaking to the press after his release, Allu Arjun expressed deep regret for the incident. He said,
“We are deeply sorry for the family. This was purely accidental and happened outside the theatre while I was inside with my family. I will stand by the family and support them in every way possible. My prayers are with them.”
Government’s Stand
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met with senior members of the Telugu film industry and assured them that law and order will be upheld strictly, even for the film fraternity.
Despite these challenges, Pushpa 2 continues to attract audiences, proving to be a massive box-office success
