It has officially been announced that Sukumar’s sequel to Pushpa: The Rise will soon be available to stream digitally. Netflix India confirmed on Monday that the movie’s extended version will be released on their platform soon.

Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa 2: The Rule Reloaded is an action-packed drama that fans have been eagerly waiting for. While the exact release date on OTT is yet to be revealed, many speculate that the film might drop this Thursday. This assumption is based on the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, earlier clarifying rumors about the early OTT release. They stated, “There are rumors about the OTT release of #Pushpa2TheRule. It won’t be available on any OTT before 56 days! It’s #WildFirePushpa only in theatres worldwide.” Since the film hit theaters on December 5, January 30 will mark 56 days.

The story picks up from where Pushpa: The Rise ended. Allu Arjun’s character, Pushpa Raj, has now become the leader of the red sandalwood smuggling network in India. Rashmika’s Srivalli is happily married to him, while Fahadh’s police officer, Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, continues his mission to take Pushpa down.
The movie has been a blockbuster, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2024 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film ever, after Dangal. According to reports, Pushpa 2: The Rule has earned ₹1467.80 crore worldwide.
