R Madhavan reveals the first glimpse of his upcoming biopic GDN, which tells the story of revolutionary scientist GD Naidu.

R Madhavan is gearing up to dive deep into the biopic genre with his upcoming film, where he will portray the renowned scientist GD Naidu.

R Madhavan is known for being a versatile actor, excelling in all kinds of roles, from action-packed entertainers to biopics. Now, he is back with another biopic and has recently revealed the first look of the project.

On his Instagram account, R Madhavan shared the first poster of his upcoming film, which is a biopic on the revolutionary scientist GD Naidu. Madhavan will play the lead role in this movie, directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar. The film is titled GDN.

In his post, Maddy also announced that the shooting of the film in India has begun. He wrote in his caption, “Need all your blessings and good wishes.”

For those who don’t know, GD Naidu, also known as the Edison of India, was a visionary scientist who is credited with being the first to manufacture an electric motor in India.

As Madhavan prepares to bring this iconic character to life on screen, fans are excited to see how he will portray the role.

Apart from Maddy, the film also stars Priyamani, Yogi Babu, and Jayaram in important roles. The music for the biopic is composed by Govind Vasantha, and it is produced by Muralidharan and Aravind K.

In a previous interview with IANS, the film’s producer had shared updates about the movie’s progress. He mentioned that the shooting in India was set to begin on February 18, the same day the first look and title were revealed. He also noted that the film’s team, especially the director, spent five years researching to bring the remarkable life of GD Naidu to the screen.
