Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has once again requested his fans to avoid bursting firecrackers inside theatres. Despite his repeated appeals, his fans in Malegaon, Maharashtra, set off rockets inside the theatre during the screening of his new film, Sikandar.
What Happened?
A viral video shows fans bursting rockets during a dance sequence featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. The fireworks created chaos in the theatre, with people sitting in the balcony leaving their seats as the rockets hit the ceiling and fell back down. While some people were scared and shouting, others were cheering and hooting.
Similar Incident During Tiger 3
This is not the first time such an incident has happened. In 2023, during the release of Tiger 3, Salman Khan’s fans had burst rockets and string bombs inside the theatre, especially during his entry scene. The situation had become so bad that the screening was stopped because of smoke and disturbance. At that time, Salman had warned his fans about the risks of such activities.
Salman Khan’s Reaction
After seeing the viral clip, Salman condemned this behaviour. In a statement to ANI, he said:
“Bursting crackers inside theatres is dangerous, and I do not support this. Also, instead of pouring milk on actors’ pictures, poor children should be fed with it.”
In 2021, he had also posted on social media, requesting theatre owners to check security and stop fans from bringing firecrackers inside. His message read:
“Request all my fans not to take firecrackers inside the theatre as it is a big fire hazard. It can put many lives in danger. I request that theatre owners not allow such things inside the cinema hall. Security should stop them at the entry itself. Enjoy the film, but please avoid such risky actions. Thank you.”
Salman has always loved his fans, but he wants them to watch movies safely and avoid such dangerous activities inside theatres.
