Vicky Kaushal’s period drama Chhaava is making waves at the box office across India and is now all set to release in Telugu.

Chhaava will now be released in Telugu as well. The period drama film starring Vicky Kaushal is creating a buzz all over India. After doing well in Hindi-speaking areas, the makers decided to bring out a Telugu version. Fans had been asking for a Telugu dub soon after the film’s release two weeks ago, and they kept urging the makers on social media.
Chhaava Telugu Release
The production company, Maddock, shared the news on their Instagram account on Wednesday. They posted a poster showing Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj along with a caption saying that the film will come out in Telugu due to popular demand. The caption read:

Chhaava Box Office Collection
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava has done very well at the box office since its release on February 14. The film has earned more than ₹500 crore worldwide, making it the second highest grossing period film in Hindi after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. It has collected ₹385 crore in India and is expected to cross the ₹400 crore mark on Thursday. If this trend continues, the film might soon reach the ₹700 crore mark globally.
The film has performed especially well in Maharashtra, where Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is greatly admired. Along with Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Rashmika Mandanna, Divya Dutta, and Vineet Kumar Singh. It tells the interesting story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Maharashtra remains the strongest market for the film, with Rajasthan and West Bengal also showing a good response mid-week.
